Dead Leveling · Effective and last updated October 11, 2026

This policy explains data use in Dead Leveling by YCrew Games, operated by Dust In Peace LLC in the United States. Contact us at augmentalvision@gmail.com about privacy, access or deletion.

Current development configuration. The game presently keeps character progress locally. Its account, cloud and advertising integrations are disabled. Sections about those integrations explain what is processed when you use a version where the feature is enabled; they do not mean those features are running in the current development version.

1. Data stored on your device

The game saves your character name, profession, statistics, progression, equipment, inventory and game currencies. It also stores preferences such as language, sound, graphics, theme, completed-run counts, review-prompt choices and advertising preferences. A separate record stores the document version accepted, the acceptance time and your notification-prompt choice.

Offline progress is not automatically uploaded by the current game configuration. Your operating system may separately back up app files under its own settings. Local save and recovery files can remain on the device until you remove the app's data or uninstall it, subject to operating-system backup behaviour.

2. Sign-in, when enabled

Optional sign-in uses Unity Authentication and Unity Player Accounts, with Google Play Games support on Android. The game uses a service player identifier and authentication credentials such as access tokens to recognise your account. Your sign-in provider may process your email address and other account information during its login flow. The game does not ask you to send a Google password to our support team.

Each verified game account has a separate local character file. Switching accounts or signing out does not by itself delete the previous account or its saved data.

3. Cloud saves, when enabled

If you choose to upload a save, Unity Cloud Save stores a copy of your game profile under your service player ID. This includes your character name and the progress, equipment and currencies recorded in that profile. Downloading a cloud save restores that profile on your device; a local recovery copy may also be kept. Cloud features require sign-in and do not run for the current offline development profile.

4. Advertising, when enabled

The planned advertising integration uses Unity LevelPlay with networks such as ironSource, Unity Ads and Google AdMob. When an enabled ad integration runs, providers may process advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device and app information, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads and help detect fraud. Personalisation is controlled separately from accepting the game's terms, using the choices offered in the game and applicable device settings.

Settings → Account & Cloud → Ads Privacy contains the current advertising preference controls. Optional rewarded ads are initiated by the player. Non-personalised advertising can still involve technical data needed to deliver and measure an ad. No ads are active in the current development configuration.

Provider information: Unity player privacy policy and Google advertising policies.

5. Notifications and technical information

Choosing Enable Notifications requests permission from your operating system and saves the outcome locally. Not Now does not request permission. You can change the operating-system permission in your device settings. The current permission feature does not register a remote push token or schedule notifications.

When online features are available and used, their providers may process connection and device information necessary to operate their services. The current development configuration has no separate gameplay analytics integration enabled. Errors may be logged locally during testing, and information you send with a bug report is handled as support information.

6. Support and this website

If you contact us by email, we receive the address you use, your message and any identifiers or attachments you choose to include. We use these to answer you, verify account ownership and handle your request. Do not send passwords or login codes.

The deletion request page does not upload its form fields. It puts the information into an email draft only when you choose that action; you must send the draft yourself. GitHub Pages hosts this website and may process visitor connection data, such as IP addresses, under GitHub's privacy statement.

7. Why data is used and shared

Data is used to run the game, store or restore progress when the relevant feature is enabled, apply your preferences, deliver requested services, answer support requests and meet legal obligations. Providers receive information needed for the services they supply. We do not sell your personal information ourselves. Advertising providers' use of data and your available choices are described in section 4 and their policies.

Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to address fraud, security issues or harm. Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, under their published privacy and transfer arrangements.

8. Retention and deletion

Local game files remain until removed from the device, subject to backups. When account and cloud services are enabled, account information and cloud progress are retained while needed to provide your account, unless you request deletion. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations.

Use Settings → Account & Cloud → Delete Account or our deletion request page to request removal of your game account, linked identifiers and associated cloud progress. You can also email augmentalvision@gmail.com without reinstalling the game. Include Dead Leveling and your player ID or sign-in email, if known. We verify ownership before handling a request. We aim to respond within 30 days and will explain any further verification, delay or records that must be retained and for how long.

Deleting a game account does not delete a Google, Apple or email account. Providers manage their own account and purchase records. Local copies on another device or in an operating-system backup may need to be removed separately.

9. Your choices and rights

You can keep using the offline character without enabling notifications. Where online features are available, you can choose whether to use sign-in and cloud uploads. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, object to some processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy authority. Contact support to exercise these rights.

10. Children and security

Dead Leveling contains zombie violence and is not designed for children under 13. Follow the game's store age rating when it is published. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support so we can investigate and handle removal.

Online providers use their own security protections. No storage or transmission method eliminates every risk. Protect your device and sign-in credentials.

11. Updates and contact

We will revise this policy when data practices change, including before enabling features with materially different data use. The date above identifies this version. Significant changes will also be communicated in the game where applicable.
